Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney has been campaigning against government health care and “European-style socialism” since what seems like time immemorial. So what does it say about Romney’s supporters when so many of them are willing to pack up and move to Europe and Canada — home of universal health care and “European-style socialism” now that President Obama has won reelection? Are these people crazy – have they forgotten how bad the economy is in Europe. If Romney wins I think I will move to the Virgin Islands – at least I am smart enough not to move to Europe.
I always love the idea of “moving to Europe.” Which country? They do differ. Some have ridiculously healthy economies and some are crapping out.

I wish they would move to Europe. They should have to suffer under the horrible system of social democracy that most Europeans live under. Where workers are burden with: affordable universal healthcare, 20 plus days of paid vacation per year, generous maternity/paternity leave, universal daycare services, no university tuition, higher levels of social mobility, and generous union wages. Oh how those poor Europeans suffer so.

Your best bet in terms of economic stability is Germany – where you can enjoy universal healthcare, very restrictive gun rights, and oh, by the way, the largest group of immigrants are predominantly muslim (this is not meant to be a jab at Turks). Oh, I almost forgot, you’ll also be giving up your 1st Amendment rights (Germany has more restrictions on freedom of speech).

I know of a great place that has no public healthcare, gay marriage laws, fewer rights for women, and no abortions. It’s called Iran.
I would rather they all move to Europe, We don’t need any more conservatives in Canada. Also if they fear health care, gay marriage and gun control Canada isn’t right for them either.
Arguable the most right wing country in Europe (that isn’t poor as hell or Monaco) is the UK and sorry but our Conservatives aren’t even as right wing as your Democrats. Everyone *hates* the Conservatives. Nuff said.
