The following is a letter from the Internal Revenue Service to the Sikh Society of South Carolina, which is run by Gov. Nikki Haley’s father, Dr. Ajit Randhawa:
So what is the big deal about it. It is a routine letter which IRS sends to many tax exempt organization including many churches here in SC and specially in this case when politically motivated specific complaints are being made by enemies of Haley simply to bring her down and make her ineffective.
Looks like a routine document request from the IRS. I get one of these about every three years or so. I provide the documents requested; the IRS says ‘thank you’, and the matter is closed.
This is what is generally known as a “random audit.” Ever hear of it?
